CRHEA is a CNRS research laboratory located in the Sophia Antipolis Technopole, in Valbonne (06).

For more than 25 years, CRHEA has been involved in the study and growth of III-nitrides semiconductors.

From a total staff of about 50 people, almost half of the research and technical staff is working on III-N elaboration or characterization. Four MBE R&D growth reactors (single wafer from 2 to 4’’ diameter) are dedicated to III-N growth using ammonia and/or plasma source.
